About Maryam
Hello, I'm Maryam!
I am currently a Master's level researcher at Universiti Malaya and I graduated from the University of Oxford with an Honors degree in Biological Sciences.
I have first-hand experience taking the SPM and CIE A-Level exams, receiving an A+ and A* in Biology respectively. I also successfully navigated the UK application process, securing all five of my UCAS offers from the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Glasgow.
Having been a student for most of my life, I understand exactly the pressure that students face when it comes to exam preparations and uni applications.
My goal is to help each student realize their inner potential - by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, making a plan to tackle areas where they may struggle, and exploring ways to enhance understanding of complex biological concepts.
I am looking forward to guiding you in your academic journey!

My tutoring sessions are for Biology students preparing for the SPM, IGCSE, and CIE A-Level exams.
My goal is to help students think like scientists, not just memorise facts. Through my sessions, I will help you master complex biological concepts, understand how to score high marks in exams, practice active recall to ensure clear understanding of the subject beyond the classroom.
I also offer specialised mentoring for students aiming for top-tier UK universities having experienced the undergraduate application process through the UCAS system.
I can help you craft a standout Personal Statement that highlights your unique academic narrative, and prepare for your interviews through mock interview sessions.
The length of each session will be between 60-90 minutes, depending on the student's needs. My timing is flexible and requests for face-to-face sessions within Klang Valley will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be subjected to transportation charges.
