I believe in solving every problem from first principles. Whether it is a tricky essay or a complex maths problem, my approach is the same. My aim is to help our students develop the tools necessary to split questions into more manageable parts. To be able to do this, a student must be able to see how the basics come together to form the complex problem as well as vice versa. With rigorous attention to both the understanding of a topic’s core principles and their connections, I develop genuine confidence in my students to help them excel.
Lesson duration 1 hour.
