About Isabella
I am an Oxford music student specialising in voice, who is very active in the musical theatre, opera, and choral music scenes! Before university, I studied singing at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and performed with the National Youth Music Theatre and British Youth Music Theatre for a number of years. I have been teaching singing and piano lessons online and in person for over 4 years now, and would love to be your next teacher.

I have a strong background in a range of singing styles, including classical (I am a choral scholar at Oxford, and the resident stage director in the Oxford Opera Society) and musical theatre (having performed for over seven years with the National Youth Music Theatre). I also have some foundation in jazz.
I am happy to coach young singers from absolute beginner to grade 5 level, and am willing to incorporate music reading/theory, sight singing, performance and aural skills into lessons.
I work closely with students and aim to create long-lasting positive relationships with each student as an individual. Generally lessons will be split into a warm-up, then a work through of repetoire followed by exam/performance/audition-specific preparation. This will ensure healthy and stylistic vocal technique as well as varied and enjoyable lessons covering an exciting range of pieces and sub-genres.
I am open to a range of lesson lengths (generally these will be 30-60 mins) according to the needs of the student either online or at my or the student's home.
For whatever reason you or your child intend to learn singing, I promise to be a friendly and supportive vocal teacher and I look forward to teaching you!
