About Alice
I've tutored two boys in English literature, aged 11 and 14, one for his secondary school entrance exam, and one for his year 9 end of year exams. Both boys passed their exams. I also taught English as a foreign language in Costa Rica for four months to children between 6 and 14 years of age.

I'm a English Language and Literature finalist at the University of Oxford. I provide friendly and encouraging tutoring in all elements of English to students from Key Stage 2 upwards. I aim both to emphasise the importance of exam technique and to help with specific problems and mark schemes, but also to make English a subject you enjoy learning, through creative writing tasks and book recommendations.
