About Elektra
I am an incoming Oxford languages undergraduate, (French and Modern Greek ab initio). I studied French, Politics, English Literature and History at A Level, achieving A*A*AA. I am an experienced debater, competing in national and international debating competitions in both French and English. I am fluent in English, French and Romanian.

I help students excel in History by developing clear understanding, strong analytical thinking, and high-scoring essay technique.
Lessons are structured and tailored to each student, covering key topics in depth while focusing on what examiners reward most—argument, evaluation, and precision. I teach students how to move beyond memorisation and instead build well-supported, persuasive answers.
I offer detailed support across a wide range of topics, including:

- Civil Rights in America (Women, Trade Unions, African Americans, Native Americans)
- World War One & World War Two
- The Cold War
- The Arab–Israeli Conflict
A core focus of my teaching is essay writing. I guide students on how to structure top-band responses, use evidence effectively, and write with clarity under timed conditions. I also provide personalised revision strategies to improve retention and exam performance.
