I firstly aim to find out my students’ areas of weakness and their preferred method of learning. I then combine the two to ensure I am providing the most tailored and innovative teaching approach to really help the student grasp the concept that was just out of their reach before.
When tutoring one student for a prolonged period of time, I like to use the Anki method of spaced repetition learning to ensure that concepts and difficult content are not just learnt but retained.
