About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matthew!
I am currently a final year student at the University of Oxford, studying Theology and Religion. I have an outstanding track-record at University, gaining various awards and prizes for performance, alongside being the top-performing Theology and Religion student at my Oxford college.
My experience and knowledge from university lies predominantly in areas of theology, religion, philosophy, and history. As such I would be more than happy to offer A-Level tutoring in Religious Studies (including Philosophy and Ethics) and History. I studied both of these at A-Level, alongside Economics, all of which I achieved an A* Grade in.
At GCSE level, I am far more flexible with what I can offer, so do get in contact if you have and questions or inquires.
I also have basic working knowledge of Latin (grade 9 at GCSE) and Koine Greek (high-first at university level, with the best examination results in Koine Greek in my Oxford year group).

All lessons are tailored to the specific requirements/abilities of the student; I never take a one-size-fits-all approach. Initially, I will use a range of different teaching methods and resources to establish what works best for the student, then implementing the most effective methods into a broader framework-plan of teaching.
All lessons are offered over online platforms, though I am willing to travel if you live close to Oxford city centre. Lessons typically vary in length, with lessons for younger students typically being 45 minutes long, and those for older students ranging from 1 hour to 1 hour 45 minutes.
As always, I am happy to discuss lesson content, provision, and length beforehand. I am also always willing to consider flexibility on when you would like me to conduct the tutoring sessions.
All lessons are £16 per hour. If you wish to have a package of 5 lessons, the 5th lesson will be half price. If you wish to have a package of 10 lessons, the 5th lesson will be half price, and the 10th lesson free.
