About Juliet
I am a passionate and engaging tutor, with a great love for working with children and providing detailed instruction. I am not easily discouraged and adore the challenge of finding a different way of explaining things. Attending Oxford University after completing the International Baccalaureate developed my proficiency in study skills and essay writing, which I can spend 10-20 minutes advising on during the session if desired.
As a young tutor, I can combine professional and informative instruction with a fun, personal approach. Having been in full-time education very recently, my advice will be relatable and relevant to your child. I also understand from very recent first-hand experience how essential it is that students have fun, and feel supported in all facets of their education. I have tonnes of empathy for any child in education and can reassure them that no question is a silly one.

I provide tailored, personal lessons using a range of teaching methods including songs, games, practice activities and conversation. I will use a combination of techniques to suit the learning style of the student, and can provide a quick quiz to determine this ahead of our first session. Lessons are usually 1 hour long.
I have extensive experience working with children, including as a teaching assistant at a primary school and a ski instructor. These roles developed my communication skills, ability to use games as a teaching tool, and gave me experience building interpersonal relationships with children
