About Sophie

I am currently studying Italian and Linguistics at the University of Oxford, where I will graduate next year. Alongside this, I have a strong background in mathematics, having studied both Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-Level.

I have over 5 years of teaching experience, including both private instrumental lessons and academic tutoring across a wide range of subjects. I have worked with students from the early years of primary school through to the end of secondary education. Over this time, I have developed a strong ability to tailor lessons to each student's individual needs - a process I particularly enjoy - and have consistently helped students achieve excellent results.

About the lesson

I have had extensive experience teaching subjects such as English, Mathematics, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning at the 11+ level, this generally being aimed at students in years 5 and 6 aiming for competitive schools.

Typically, my lessons are 1 hour long, in which I use a mixture of published resources by the relevant exam boards, exam papers, and my own carefully designed resources.
