I'm a master's-level Economics student with a strong passion for teaching and a few years of experience tutoring Maths, Economics and Statistics. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand complex ideas and build confidence in their abilities—especially in a subject as powerful and relevant as economics. My Approach to Tutoring As a tutor, my aim is to make complex ideas feel simple, relevant, and even exciting. I focus on building a deep understanding of core concepts rather than encouraging rote memorisation. My teaching is highly interactive and tailored to each student’s learning style—whether that means using real-life examples, breaking down exam questions step-by-step, or helping students make connections across topics. I typically start by assessing the student’s current understanding and goals, then design a structured plan that addresses gaps while reinforcing strengths. I encourage active participation, use formative assessment techniques, and provide regular feedback to track progress. In my experience, students thrive when they feel heard, supported, and intellectually challenged. Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, though I also offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student's needs and attention span. Each session has a clear focus, with time for review, practice, and Q&A. Qualifications and Experience I’m currently a master’s-level Economics student and have years of tutoring experience. I also have experience teaching students with a range of abilities and backgrounds, including those preparing for university or aiming to improve their academic confidence. Who I Teach My lessons are designed for students aged 15 and up—primarily those studying A-Level Economics or equivalent qualifications. Whether you're preparing for final exams, trying to boost coursework performance, or just need help making sense of a topic, I’m here to help you succeed.
