While teaching methods are the tools and activities used in class, teaching methodology is the rationale behind choosing and combining those methods. Common Teaching Methodologies: 1. Teacher-Centered Methodology Focus: Teacher is the main authority; students are passive recipients. Example: Lecture-based teaching. Strengths: Efficient for large groups; clear structure. Limitations: Less engagement and interaction. 2. Student-Centered Methodology Focus: Students actively participate in learning. Example: Group work, discussions, inquiry-based learning.
