About Emilie

A graduate of the ESG private business school in Montpellier, specializing in Marketing (Tourism option),
I m currently working as a Montessori teacher assistant & art animator, I m responsible for planning, preparing and delivering well structured, clearly presented and adapted art workshops (drawing, painting (with balloons, milk, pouring ...), pottery, charcoal & creative activities.) to the children, and to provide nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration and participation.

In addition, as a gallery assistant within the John Hansard art gallery, I m in charge of delivering the highest standard of customer care, providing a friendly and professional welcome to the art Gallery, using my art knowledge to add depth to the experience of visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and by introducing the artists' works, supporting the Duty Manager in the day-to-day management and security of the building, ensuring visitor safety by complying with Health & Safety and emergency evacuation procedures, and finally, helping in gathering audience feedback and visitor statistics, support access initiatives, and provide occasional set up and invigilation for out of hours events

About the lesson

My teaching method is base on experimenting new subjects and techniques in drawing and painting. For example, painting or drawing some flowers, landscapes, abstract, ... with some charcoal, acrylics, ...and by studying some famous painters' techniques and getting some inspirations

It was a first good lesson with Martyn. He seems to be an interesting, friendly and kind man. He is super motivated to learn some art technics, mainly with Charcoal. I really enjoy my first tuition with him.
