About Tori
I am a Chemistry tutor with more than 6 years of experience guiding students through laboratory science and chemical analysis. I hold a MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry and specialise in analytical chemistry techniques. My goal is to make laboratory concepts clear and practical.
I teach students how to use important analytical methods such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration analysis. These tools help scientists identify substances and measure chemical properties accurately. Understanding them is crucial for any chemist.
My lessons focus strongly on experimental planning and structured investigation. Students learn how to design experiments carefully and collect meaningful data. Good science begins with good preparation.
I also emphasise accurate data interpretation and scientific reporting. Students learn to analyse results and draw reliable conclusions from their observations.
Quality control is another important part of my teaching. Consistent procedures and careful measurement ensure reliable scientific results.
I regularly work with chemistry lab students and those interested in careers in research laboratories or quality assurance. They gain both practical skills and scientific confidence.

My teaching methodology in Chemistry is focused on clear explanations and structured learning. Organic chemistry can appear complex, but breaking it into smaller ideas makes it much easier. I guide students carefully through each concept.
Important topics include organic nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and stereochemistry concepts such as isomerism. These topics help students understand how carbon compounds are structured. They also explain how molecules react.
During lessons, I help students analyse molecular structures and reaction steps. This builds strong problem-solving skills in organic chemistry.
Consistent feedback helps students track their progress. Regular practice strengthens both knowledge and confidence.
Students interested in natural environments and marine systems often connect strongly with carbon chemistry concepts. Many biological and environmental reactions involve organic molecules.
My goal is to help students master organic chemistry step by step. Together we build a solid foundation for understanding organic synthesis.
