About Ivan

Hello! I’m Ivan, an ARSM-certified pianist with over 20 years of musical experience. Since starting piano at age 4, I’ve earned an ABRSM Diploma in Piano Performance (ARSM) and a Yamaha Grade 6 certification. I teach kids (6+), teens, and adults in a fun, encouraging way, balancing technical foundations with engaging music pieces—especially in classical and worship styles. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, and I tailor each lesson to your interests and pace. First lesson is free to help you get started with confidence. Measuring progress, enjoying learning, and building solid technique—that’s what we do together!

About the lesson

Lesson Highlights: Clear focus on technique, musicality, sight-reading, theory, and ear training. Flexible teaching in English, Mandarin, or Malay. Suitable for children (age 6+), teenagers, and adults. Support for exam prep (ABRSM/Yamaha), leisure play, or worship music
Duration: 30 minutes/45 minutes/1 hour
Availability: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday afternoon)
Location: Sri Petaling & nearby areas (I travel to student’s home; students must have a piano/keyboard)
Fees: RM100/30mins | RM110/45mins | RM120/hour (lessons at student’s home)
Transportation Fee: starting from RM80/month (depending on location) Special Packages: Buy 4 lessons, get 1 free 1st trial class is free Customizable plans are available for siblings or dedicated long-term learners
