Hi! I’m a third-year Education student with a minor in English, and I’m passionate about helping students grow in their confidence and skills. As a third-year Education undergraduate with a minor in English, my teaching approach is rooted in student-centered learning. I believe that every learner has a unique way of understanding and applying knowledge, so I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s needs, strengths, and learning style. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: I use a combination of active learning, scaffolded instruction, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and relevant. For English lessons, I incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. I often use interactive discussions, multimedia resources, and games to keep students motivated. For literacy and grammar, I use task-based learning where students apply concepts in writing or speaking exercises. I also believe in regular feedback and reflection, helping students track their own progress and grow in confidence. A Typical Lesson Plan Includes: Warm-up Activity – to activate prior knowledge (5-10 minutes) Lesson Focus – introduction of the day’s topic (vocabulary, grammar point, reading skill, etc.) Guided Practice – exercises with my support Independent Task – a chance for students to apply what they learned Review & Feedback – summarizing key points and discussing what went well Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the age and focus of the session.
