About Kgotso
I am passionate about language, writing, communication, and helping people grow in confidence through education. As a writer, published author, and educator, I’ve always believed that strong English skills can open doors academically, professionally, and personally. Teaching allows me to combine my love for writing with my passion for helping others improve and succeed.
I especially enjoy helping students strengthen their writing, spelling, proofreading, and communication skills because I understand how powerful clear expression can be. My goal is not only to help students achieve better marks, but also to help them become more confident thinkers, writers, and communicators.
I create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I believe every student has potential, and I enjoy helping them discover their strengths while making lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

My lessons are designed for Grade 8 to Grade 12 (High School) learners who want to improve their English skills, confidence, critical thinking, and academic performance through a structured learning approach aligned with the South African CAPS curriculum.
I teach English the same way learners are taught in school, meaning I can assist with all major areas covered in English Home Language and First Additional Language, depending on where the learner needs support most. My core teaching areas include critical thinking, creative writing, essay writing, proofreading, English literacy, and English literature.
Whether you need help with Paper 1 (language, comprehension, summaries, grammar, and language structures), Paper 2 (poetry, novels, short stories, visual literacy, and literature analysis), or Paper 3 (creative writing, essays, transactional writing, speeches, and other writing formats), I provide personalized lessons focused on helping learners fully understand the work and improve consistently.
My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s pace, goals, and school requirements. I focus not only on helping students achieve better marks, but also on developing strong communication skills, deeper literary understanding, analytical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas clearly and effectively.
As a writer, published author, and educator, I bring practical writing and communication experience into every lesson. I am passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping learners grow academically and personally while creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and building confidence step by step.
My goal is to help learners succeed in English both inside and outside the classroom by teaching them the skills needed to think critically, write effectively, analyze literature deeply, and communicate with confidence.
