About Luhn
Hello! My name is Luhn Van Wyk, and I am a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase teacher with hands-on experience in early childhood education. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right support, and my goal is to create a learning environment that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I am TEFL certified and currently working as an assistant teacher at Durbanville Primary School, where I teach in-class, coach sports, and assist with administrative tasks. My experience includes working with children of all ages and diverse learning needs, including ADHD, ADD, and dyslexia. My teaching philosophy is centered on learning through play, exploration, and practical activities that make learning fun and memorable. I offer lessons in both English and Afrikaans, focusing on building strong literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. Whether your child needs extra academic support or a boost in confidence, I am here to help them reach their full potential.
