I am a dedicated and supportive tutor currently studying a Bachelor of Education continuing on to my master's, with practical classroom experience working with primary and high school students. Tutoring for years K-6, I take a supportive and personalized approach to tutoring, focusing on building students’ confidence as well as their academic skills. My teaching style is patient and structured, breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps. I use a combination of guided practice, real-life examples, and targeted skill-building activities to help students fully understand each topic rather than just memorizing content.
Each lesson typically runs for 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and attention span. During lessons, I begin with a quick review of previous learning, introduce and explain new content, then work through practice questions together before finishing with independent tasks to consolidate understanding.
