About Martha
My name is Martha and I'm a recent graduate who is very in love with education. However, I'm aware that there are many aspects of academia that are daunting, frustrating, and not always kind to those with busy or creative minds, or those prone to self-doubt! There have been times during my degree where I've felt overwhelmed and unsure whether I was doing the right thing, but over time I have come to realise that this is a very common thing, and so a big drive towards teaching for me is to provide encouragement and support when it is most needed. Seeing people achieve things they never thought they could is one of the greatest things.

Lessons would be tailored to suit your needs; we can have a chat about how you learn best and I can plan lessons around this. I can help you with any problems you're encountering, whether that may be the content of texts you're studying, essay writing assistance, or even help managing your time or confronting exam and assignment stress. I have a laid back and creative approach to problems and will be here to support you in any way I can. Lessons would typically be an hour long with a short comfort break after half an hour, but this is not strict and we can arrange shorter or longer lessons as required.
