About Aritra

Hello! My name is Aritra Saha and I am a passionate piano learner and aspiring piano teacher with a strong interest in helping young students discover the joy of music.

I have completed ABRSM Grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 in Piano, with training in Western Classical music and I also enjoy playing Bollywood melodies on piano. Music has been an important part of my life for many years and performing in a concert further strengthened my love for piano and musical expression.

I want to share my piano knowledge because I believe music can help students build creativity, confidence, focus and self - expression. I understand that learning piano can sometimes feel difficult for beginners, so I aim to make lessons simple, enjoyable and encouraging through easy step - by - step teaching methods.

My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their own pace and enjoying the process of making music. I especially enjoy teaching kids, children and teens and I personalize lessons according to each student’s goals and interests.

Whether you want to learn Western Classical piano, Bollywood songs, improve your musical skills or prepare for ABRSM exams, I would be happy to guide you on your musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on patience, encouragement and step - by - step learning. As a classically trained pianist who has completed ABRSM Grades 3, 5, 6 and 7, I aim to make piano learning simple, enjoyable and motivating for every student.

My Teaching Techniques and Methods:

I use easy step - by - step methods that help students understand concepts clearly without feeling overwhelmed.

Lessons include:

* Proper hand position and finger technique
* Note reading and rhythm training
* Music theory fundamentals
* Sight reading practice
* Musical expression and confidence building
* Learning through both exercises and songs

I also combine Western Classical piano training with Bollywood music to keep lessons enjoyable and relatable for younger students.

Structure of a Typical Class:

A usual lesson may include:

1. Warm - up exercises and finger practice
2. Review of previous homework or practice
3. Learning new concepts or techniques
4. Working on songs or pieces
5. Rhythm and theory activities
6. Practice guidance for the next lesson
