About Gabriella

I am currently a Master of Media student at RMIT University. I am extremely passionate about media production, filmmaking, and animation.

Ever since I was a child, I have been captivated by how one could tell a beautiful story through various kinds of visuals. It touches my heart when the most imaginative ideas are turned into reality. I am left speechless when a character comes to life through a beautiful process called animation.

So I ended up studying for a bachelor of 3D Animation at JMC Academy, Australia. I graduated in December 2020 and continued my studies at RMIT University.

Moreover, while studying in Melbourne, I am always very excited to get along with a lot people and join various Melbourne-based organizations. Working with numerous kinds of people of diverse cultural backgrounds and values has enhanced my adaptability and open-mindedness. As a team leader, I am always interested in teaching my friends audio-visual materials that many people around me are highly interested in. With my empathetic nature, I always love listening to other people’s ideas and dreams and helping them make them into reality. Therefore, I have decided to teach online and offline for the subject I’m passionate about with you.

About the lesson

Hi there!
If you believe, there are no stories and ideas that are too little, and you always wanted to transform your ideas into a form of art, wether a script, or video, but don't know how, you have come to the right place.

I'm here to make your dream come true, providing a very beginner-friendly and relaxing class that at the same time, can teaches you how to make your ideas into reality through audio-visual materials.

My technique and teaching method will be personalized based on the student's goals.

Each session can be up to 2h (through online and offline session based in Melbourne CBD).

My lessons are personalized for any level, and ages.

The lessons include but not limited to:
- storyboarding
- animation
- transforming ideas to visuals / script
- video editing
- creating storyline
- creating emotional involvement within the story
- creative directing
- and any cinema-related subject that you requested.

Perfect! I had the pleasure of working with Gabby, and I can't recommend her enough! Her speedy communication made coordinating our online and face-to-face sessions so much easier.

Gabby helped me build my knowledge from the ground up, covering both basic and advanced concepts of operating a camera. We went through everything from exposure settings, using and adjusting lighting, to mastering different camera angles for storytelling.
She also gave me a thorough understanding of film production and content editing using DaVinci Resolve.

Gabby’s patient, calm and clear teaching style, supported through digestible resources and fun interactive and in-person activities, creates an amazing experience for all experience levels.
