About Anakho
Hello! I'm a second-year MBChB (Medicine) student with a genuine passion for Life Sciences and helping others succeed academically. Having excelled in Life Sciences myself and now studying medicine, I understand how important it is to master the fundamentals and develop confidence in the subject.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each individual's pace and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, using interactive discussions, using real life examples where applicable, practice questions, and exam-focused strategies. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating.
I am committed to helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of Life Sciences. Whether you're preparing for tests, exams, or simply need extra support with challenging topics, I'm here to help you achieve your academic goals with patience, dedication, and enthusiasm.
I have experience of tutoring grade 11 and 12 learners from my high school when I was doing grade 12 and when I was in my first year of university.

My goal is to make Life Sciences understandable, engaging, and enjoyable rather than something students simply memorise. As a second-year MBChB (Medicine) student, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation and using effective study techniques.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student's learning needs. I incorporate tutorial-style explanations, discussion sessions, and practice questions to help students apply what they have learnt. I also plan to create tutorial and interactive revision videos that students can revisit in their own time, allowing them to reinforce concepts at their own pace.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous work, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using simple language and relatable examples. We then work through practice questions together, identify challenging areas, and finish with a dedicated question-and-answer session where students are encouraged to ask anything they are unsure about. My aim is not only to help students improve their marks but also to develop confidence in tackling Life Sciences problems independently.
I am proficient in English and can teach all lessons in English.
My lessons are suitable for high school learners studying Life Sciences at any level, whether they need help understanding difficult concepts, preparing for tests and examinations, or improving their overall performance. Every lesson is designed to be supportive, encouraging, and focused on helping students reach their academic goals.
