About Pui Ming
I am a passionate and dedicated piano tutor with over 6 years of experience playing pop music, including live performance experience with a band. I specialize in Cantonese Pop (Cantopop) and Mandarin Pop (Mandopop) and enjoy helping students learn songs they genuinely love.
My teaching style is patient, friendly and supportive. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their ability, interests and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some piano experience, I will guide you step by step and help you build confidence.
I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace. My goal is not only to teach you how to play the piano, but also to help you enjoy music and feel confident expressing yourself through it.

My teaching approach is practical, relaxed and student-focused. I help students learn through songs they enjoy, focusing on melodies, chords, rhythm, accompaniment patterns and basic pop piano techniques. I can also teach students how to play and sing along with songs.
Lessons are typically 45 - 60 minutes, with the content adjusted according to each student's level, interests and learning goals.
I have 6+ years of experience playing pop piano and performance experience playing with a band. I am particularly familiar with Cantonese pop (Cantopop) and Mandarin pop (Mandopop).
My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who are interested in pop music of different ages, especially students who want to learn pop piano, play their favorite songs, accompany singing or build confidence in playing and performing.
