About Luyanda
Hello! I'm Luyanda Ngubane, a dedicated and passionate B.Ed Intermediate Phase graduate from the University of Zululand, specializing in Languages and Humanities. Originally from Pietermaritzburg (Taylors Halt area), I've gained hands-on experience teaching at Northlands Primary and Taylors High Primary schools, where I supported diverse learners, managed classrooms, coached soccer teams, and delivered PE lessons to over 150 students.
Teaching is my true calling because I love seeing children light up when they understand something new, build confidence, and develop skills for life. I enjoy creating positive, engaging environments that support all learning styles — including special needs — and incorporating fun elements like sports and teamwork to make lessons memorable. I'm excited to help primary students thrive in English, IsiZulu, Humanities, and more, while fostering their overall growth. Let's work together to unlock your child's potential!

My lessons are dynamic, student-centred, and fully tailored to each learner's unique needs, strengths, and pace — whether they're building foundational skills in Languages (English/IsiZulu), Humanities/Social Sciences, or Life Skills/Physical Education. Drawing from my B.Ed training and hands-on primary school experience at Northlands and Taylors High, I use engaging, interactive methods like real-world examples, technology integration, games, and structured activities to boost comprehension and participation. I specialise in supporting children with diverse learning styles or special needs, while incorporating teamwork and fun elements from my sports coaching background (e.g., soccer/PE drills to build motor skills and confidence). Parents see quick improvements in focus, behaviour, and enthusiasm — lessons are positive, goal-oriented, and always end on a high note!
