About Cindy
I have an MFA in Fine Art and have exhibited my award winning sculpture, drawing and painting both nationally and internationally. Having taught students of all ages and abilities in schools, university and the community, I enjoy working with all types of students including special needs individuals. I have tutored students in art and academics for many years.

I base my teaching methodology on choice within structure. I teach within the basic concepts of Fine Art and Design which are the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design. These provide a structure within which I can choose from to form assignments and project to explore these concepts and then allow choices for the student to make during the making, or creative process. This choosing of form or color or texture and such will make each student's creative journey different and unique so that no student's work should look the same. Just as in life, our choices determine the outcome. No cookie cutter art here!
