About Katie
Hello! I am Katie, a professional flute player based in SW London.
I hold a Master's degree and LRAM teaching licentiate from the Royal Academy of Music with Distinction and previously studied at the Royal Northern College of Music (First Class Degree with honours).
I have worked with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra and Knussen Chamber Orchestra and will also take up the position of an Open Academy Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music from September.

I have been teaching the flute for six years and currently teach privately, with the Tri-Borough Music Hub (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea) and at Sir William Perkins School. My lessons focus on inspiring and encouraging students of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals, whether an exam (ABRSM/Trinity), audition or performance. I hope to pass on my passion of music and love of the flute. Previous students have successfully auditioned for National orchestras and ensembles.
