About Honora

Over the past 9 years, I have taught saxophone to more than 300 students from high school and college levels. Teaching is my passion, and helping students grow through music gives me deep satisfaction and purpose. One of the important milestones in my teaching career was guiding my students for their first public performances. Many of them overcame stage fear and played with great confidence. Some of my students now perform regularly at college events and cultural programmes, which makes me very proud. My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and easy to follow. I focus on daily practice habits, correct posture, breath support, tone control, rhythm training, and music reading. I encourage students to enjoy the learning process instead of rushing for fast results. I believe mistakes are part of learning, and I always support students to try again without fear. My goal is to help every student become confident, disciplined, and happy with their musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching method follows a simple step-by-step system using Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I break every lesson into small parts so students understand easily. I always make sure students feel free to ask questions. Accountability helps students stay serious about practice. I provide clear routines, warm-ups, and weekly targets. I guide students to correct their mistakes and improve with regular feedback. Integrity guides students to practise with honesty and dedication. I focus on building correct breathing, posture, finger technique, sound quality, and rhythm from the start. As students improve, they learn songs, scales, sight-reading, and basic improvisation. Along with saxophone, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, and beginner keyboard basics. My goal is to make learning smooth, enjoyable, and effective.
