About Noga

I'm a singer-songwriter, originally from Israel, living in London in the last 7 years. I earned an MA from the Guildhall School of Music and BA from London Centre of Contemporary Music. I have a lot of experience teaching and facilitating vocal, songwriting and creative music making workshops. I teach and facilitate workshops regularly for the organisations: Live Music Now, CREATE arts, Music Action International and Barbican Creative Learning. I perform regularly with my band (my original music Afro-Jazz) and with a lot of other projects such as: The Mike King Collective (Jazz, gospel, pop), Grand Union Orchestra (Jazz-World) and more...

About the lesson

I'm passionate about voice and songwriting and believe each singer is different therefore I try to find the right and unique way to teach each pupil I work with and help them find their own voice and their special way to express themselves in the best way. I studied many different vocal techniques during my academic studies and with different private vocal coaches in London, Berlin and Tel-Aviv. The methods I've studied are: Speech Level Singing, Lichtenberg Method and Voice Movement Therapy. I love singing in different genres and languages and I've worked with artists from varied backgrounds and genres. I learned soul, jazz and gospel from Mike King and Randolph Matthews, South African singing with Keitumetse Joyce Moholoagae, traditional Kurdish singing technique with Nawroz Oramari and some Carnatic Indian with Jyotsna Srikanth. I'm happy to share all my knowledge and experience with my students, teaching the following subjects: Pop/Jazz/World music singing focusing on Vocal technique, breathing technique, improvisation and performance. I love teaching songwriting, privately, in a group and helping artists who already write with their songs and performances. I lead also choirs and vocal harmony groups. I teach also beginners piano.

Perfect! Noga is intuitive, helping with anything which could have an impact on your singing from posture, to breathing, enjoyment, and really understands the mechanics of her art, which she generously wants to share.
She is very passionate about her art and couldn't do more to pass it on and help you get to where you'd like to be.
Highly recommend Noga to anyone looking for an amazing teacher and coach.
