About Thoba
I have been interested in teaching for as long as I can remember, but I did not Study teaching simply because I am not passionate about teaching masses. Education in South Africa is messed up especially in the lower grades, it restrict children from discovering their passion which then disables them from make career choices that they love, finding themselves being copies rather than originals.
I've been a tutor from tertiary and I was not getting paid for it, how I discovered my passion for tutoring?, It was by the unprecedented joy I would have someone I tutored got the result. From high school I was helping my class mates with their subjects, which improved their result and there was no struggle in teaching them.
In short tutoring and mentoring young minds is a passion not a career.

The main concept of my tutoring is to find the Learner within the subject, It like introducing yourself to you, would'nt that be interesting, as soon as the learner finds themselves in the subject it therefore becomes easy to learn and thus exploring the subject more.
Traditionally education is "instilling someone's mind" into another in order for them to think like that individual, e.g. if you remember Isaac Newton's laws you are regarded as "smart", my style of tutoring is so that the child goes beyond the mind of physicians and get to a place where they understand the background on how the physicians we are learning about got to make their discoveries.
Thus triggering a curious mind that is not limited by what has been discovered. I do throw in a bit of sport after lessons if the time allows and make time to go watch the little ones play at no extra cost to create that "I'm also interested in you" in our relationship with the child, that helps interest them in what I teach.
