About Layla
I’m passionate about teaching maths because I genuinely enjoy helping others reach that “lightbulb moment” where everything suddenly clicks. As a Maths student at Chester, I’ve spent years building a deep understanding of the subject, and I love using that knowledge to support learners who may feel unsure or overwhelmed. Helping someone grow in confidence and realise their own ability is incredibly rewarding, and it’s exactly why I’m excited to tutor.

As a current Maths student at the University of Chester who completed my own GCSEs just five years ago, I know exactly how to explain topics clearly so as to build confidence and make tricky ideas feel manageable.
