About Macario

I am very confident that all of my potential students will be very successful at achieving their goals and dreams. I am able to teach and guide everyone to achieve the level that they desire and am certain that I won’t disappoint anyone. I myself started off dreading piano lessons and practicing, but through changing my mindset, I have been able to love the piano, and now I want to pass down my love to my students. I hope you all will learn to love the piano the way you want to.

About the lesson

I will be using my piano teacher's techniques (who has been playing piano for over 70 years) and has guided countless students through the rigorous certificate of merit plan. I am very flexible on the best way to teach my students, but a typical lesson will include listening and kindly correcting the songs played and include music theory if desired. However, as I am only at level 7 in certificate of merit (intermediate/advanced), I would prefer to only teach beginner/intermediates - no Beethoven’s. Why should you choose me as your tutor? As a teen, I would be much more appealing to the younger students, and my many years of playing piano will allow me to be a better teacher for all my students. In addition, I have years of teaching experience through giving my mother and some of my friends helpful lessons and tips. I am capable of teaching any scope of piano (classical, baroque, romantic, modern, and pop); however, I am formally taught for classical through modern - not pop; however, I’ve played many pop songs on my own. I hope you will choose me as your piano teacher as I am very passionate and dedicated!
