About Karuna
My father was a high school teacher and teachers those days were not paid handsomely. With limited resources at his disposal and many mouths to feed, my father tried his best to keep his flock happy. A man with a sense of humour, he knew how to lighten the mood in tense situations. And he kept us happy the best way that he could. So was he to his students, he undoubtedly cleared each and every students confusions within the classes and even during nights when he's supposed to spend his time with us. This really inspired me alot. That's the main reason I chose to help students struggling to study in my own way.

Who needs pressure when first making an acquaintance? With this in mind, I don't need any fireworks in any of my class. My two cents: grow slowly on my students. Resist over-doing it, or sharing too much of myself in the beginning. Keeping the students wondering about the new lessons always help us to communicate with them more. Another way I chose is to understand them as a mother. I have always been blown away at how easily my friends communicate with my mom. The words she chooses, the way she connects to see if that person is understanding her PATIENCE. I’ve learned a lot from my mom, just as she did from her mother. It’s very important to show our students we accept them. Students are curious about a teacher and their classmates, but they also want to know where the class is headed. So I prefer to explain them in a simple and brief manner. Sessions with more interacting activities are my other mode of teaching along with tutoring.
