About Betty
With over 20 years of mathematics teaching experience across schools in Lagos and Edo State, I bring a depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for the subject that students feel from the very first lesson.
I hold a B.Sc. (Ed) in Mathematics from the University of Benin and a Diploma in Computer Science. Having served as Head of Department for Mathematics and Computer Studies, I understand not just how to teach the subject — but how to build a culture of curiosity and achievement around it.
My students span four countries — Nigeria, Norway, Australia, and Estonia — a reflection of the trust families worldwide place in my teaching. I work with junior and senior secondary students, meeting each one at their level and guiding them steadily toward confidence and results.
I believe every student can do well in mathematics. Sometimes all it takes is the right explanation, a little patience, and a teacher who refuses to give up on them. That is exactly what I show up with, every single lesson.

I guide students to think through problems rather than just memorize steps to build real understanding and lasting confidence.
I begin by finding out exactly where each student is, then use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and targeted questions to make concepts click. Every lesson is tailored to the individual.
My classes are typically 60 minutes, with flexible 45- or 90-minute options available.
I hold a B.Sc. (Ed) in Mathematics from the University of Benin. A Diploma in Computer Science and over 20 years teaching in top Lagos schools.
My lessons are for junior and senior secondary students (ages 10–18) and adult learners — whether catching up, keeping up, or preparing for exams
