As a dependable and passionate tutor, I show up fully for every student I work with. Hello! My name is Lola, and I am so glad you’re here. I work with students of all ages—from young children just starting out to adults wanting to build their confidence in their speaking. Whether you’re interested in improving your conversation skills, or preparing for something specific, my lessons are always customized to your unique goals, learning style, and tailored to fit you!

I am a warm, personable and patient tutor who creates a supportive space where you can feel confident speaking and making mistakes—this is how we grow! We will focus on your personal goals, whether that’s expanding vocabulary, improving pronunciation and grammar or simply getting more comfortable holding a conversation in English.

I love bringing creativity into the classroom, and as someone who enjoys writing, reading and all things creative, I’m more than happy to explore those interests with you too! My teaching style is flexible and student-centered, which means I’ll adjust each session to match your pace, interests, and learning needs.

No matter your level, my goal is to create a fun and professional learning space where you feel safe, supported, and excited to grow. It’s completely natural to feel nervous learning a new skill and I will be there guiding you each step of the way with open arms. Learning should feel productive yet enjoyable and fun, let’s embark on this journey together! I can’t wait to meet you and help you on your English journey!

Lola is an absolute sweetheart and a gem of a teacher. I met her in my first year of college in 2022. I was very anxious and felt embarrassed that I was struggling to communicate in proper english. Lola was not only kind but went above and beyond tutoring me for a little over a year. She was accommodating to my schedule especially after I had my second born. She was able to answer all of my questions and thoughts and remained gentle and patient with me at all times. I could not have done this without her. I highly recommend Lola to anyone in need of an english tutor!
