I am a former high school chemistry teacher with over six years of experience. I obtained my bachelors degree in chemistry and masters degree in the art of teaching. I have also tutored chemistry and middle school math throughout the years online and in person. My online experience has been in the form of tutoring via zoom, as well as full time teaching virtually through a software called newrow. I enjoy teaching all age groups from middle school to early college.
I prefer to begin my session with you by letting you tell me where in particular you are struggling (or want to improve), and we can work through that content together. This can be in the form of homework problems, lab assignments/reports you are working through, or I can provide other practice problems and presentations as needed to deepen your understanding in a particular content area for review. I will also provide valuable feedback and suggestions for you throughout our sessions to highlight areas of your strengths or weakness, and how you can improve your studies to see greater improvement.
