Hello! My name is Dhiya, and I am an experienced tutor offering private lessons in Afrikaans and English. With a strong academic background and several years of tutoring experience, I am committed to helping students reach their full potential. My approach to private tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I am proficient in both Afrikaans and English, and I am able to teach in either language depending on the student’s preference. My lessons are designed to strengthen language skills, improve comprehension, and build confidence in both written and spoken communication.
In a typical lesson, students can expect a structured yet flexible session: we begin by reviewing previous work, then move on to focused practice with guided explanations, and end with a recap and strategies for independent improvement. I often use examples, exercises, and interactive methods to keep lessons dynamic and enjoyable.
