About Derek
I am a Medical Student with a background in Biomedical Science, but my favourite subjects at school were English and History. I graduated school top of my class in both History and English, and have a passion for reading. I have been tutoring English 1 on 1 during lockdown and at a Summer Camp and would love to continue doing so.

I have experience studying English up until A-level (finished year 13). I always loved reading, writing essays and analysing literature. I am also happy to offer ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons. I will base my classes on the students ability level and what they wish to accomplish. I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher, and I love understanding my students in order to best help them achieve their goals.
