About Farrukh
I have years of experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in one‑on‑one settings, both online and in person. My background includes [your degree(s) in math / engineering / statistics or related field], and I routinely help students in:
Pre‑Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry
Precalculus and Calculus (AP Calculus AB/BC and college calculus)
Probability and Statistics (including AP Statistics and introductory college stats)
For online lessons, I use an interactive whiteboard and shared screens so we can write, graph, and solve problems together in real time. You will always receive clear written work and step‑by‑step solutions that you can review after the lesson, which helps homework and test prep go much faster.
Policies are simple and student‑friendly:
Flexible scheduling for evenings and weekends
Clear communication before and after sessions about progress and next steps
A respectful, supportive environment where questions are always welcome
If you are ready to feel more confident in math, send me a message with:
your course (for example: “Algebra 2,” “AP Calculus AB,” or “Intro Stats”), and
a photo or example of a recent homework or test problem that felt difficult.
From there, I can suggest a plan, recommend how often to meet, and schedule a first session. Let’s make your next quiz, test, or exam a turning point instead of a roadblock.

Struggling with math does not mean you are “bad at math”, it just means no one has explained it to you in a way that makes sense yet. As a specialized math tutor, my goal is to turn confusion into confidence by breaking ideas down into clear, step‑by‑step explanations that match how you think and learn.
I focus on the math courses that cause students the most stress: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus (high school, AP, and college), and Statistics (including AP Statistics and intro college stats). Whether you want to pass a class, boost a grade, or earn a 4–5 on an AP exam, lessons are always centered on your actual homework, tests, and syllabus so that every session immediately supports your real‑world goals.
During sessions, I start by asking a few quick questions so I can see exactly where things began to feel confusing. Then I rebuild the topic from the ground up:
Explaining concepts in plain language, with multiple examples
Working through practice problems together, then gradually shifting the work to you
Showing test‑taking strategies, calculator tips, and common “trick” questions
Creating a short, personalized “cheat sheet” of key ideas you can review between sessions
Students and parents often comment on my patience and clarity. I never rush, I never judge, and I always encourage questions. If one explanation does not click, I immediately try a different approach until it does. The goal is not just to finish assignments, but to help you actually understand what you are doing so that future topics feel easier, not harder.
