About Antoine

I am a committed and experienced Flute instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute through clear guidance and structured lessons.

My teaching approach emphasises strong basics and musical understanding. I focus on posture, breath control, finger coordination, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Lessons are customised to suit each student’s goals and pace.

I believe learning works best with clear communication and regular practice. I explain concepts in simple language and provide step-by-step guidance. Accountability is maintained through progress tracking and honest feedback. Integrity is an important part of my teaching style.

Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, notation reading, rhythm exercises, and performance skills. I assist students with exam preparation and stage confidence.

My unique strength is my ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds. I aim to create a positive, disciplined, and inspiring learning environment.

About the lesson

I teach flute using a methodology based on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, designed to provide a holistic learning experience. I start by assessing each student’s abilities, goals, and musical preferences. Communication is key—I explain techniques such as breath control, posture, fingering, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear, structured manner. Creativity is central to my teaching. I guide students to explore improvisation, develop personal interpretations, and experiment with melodies, fostering both technical skill and artistic expression. In addition to flute performance, I teach music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and ear training, building comprehensive musicianship. My methodology ensures students develop technical mastery, expressive skills, and confidence, while nurturing a lifelong passion for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
