About Temitope
I’m Temitope Abigail Yussuff, an experienced mathematics and science tutor who is passionate about helping learners understand difficult concepts in a simple and practical way.
I have over 6 years of teaching experience, both online and offline, and I have worked with learners from Nigeria, the UK, and the USA. I have taught over 100 learners offline and 15+ learners online.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and learner-centered. I break complex topics into simple steps, use practical examples, encourage questions, and give learners opportunities to solve problems independently. I also encourage learners to explain their answers so I can identify gaps in their understanding.
I hold an M.Sc. in Medical Physics and currently focus on helping Year 1–9 learners improve their mathematics skills, confidence, problem-solving ability, and academic performance.

I believe every learner can improve when they are taught in a way that works for them. I use simple explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and questions to help learners understand concepts instead of memorizing them.
During my lessons, I identify areas where the learner is struggling, break difficult topics into smaller steps, and allow them to practice independently. I also encourage learners to explain their thinking so I can confirm that they truly understand the work and build their confidence.
My typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, with the pace adjusted according to the learner’s age, level, and needs.
I have 6 years of teaching experience, including both offline and online tutoring. I have taught over 100 learners offline and learners from Nigeria, the UK, and the USA online.
I mainly teach Year 1–9 learners, particularly students who need help strengthening their mathematics foundation, improving their problem-solving skills, building confidence, and improving their test performance.
