About Fawn
Hello! My name is Fawn and I live a normal boring life in Oregon. I have 2 kids, a cat named Chuck and a dog named Cooper. They are my whole life, and I would do anything for them. I work a full-time job that is very fulfilling, but have recently started considering alternative ways to earn money for my new hobby, a project car. I am an intelligent, but goofy person who wants to make a difference, but also fix up my car. The first part of my qualifications include teaching my ten-year-old daughter, tutoring my sister her entire life (she just graduated), and completing math classes of my own up to college pre-calculus. I am knowledgeable in math up to Algebra II and Geometry. The second part of my qualifications come as a mother. When teaching children it is important to make connections, be goofy, and give positive reinforcement by finding out what motivates them. For these reasons, I will tailor sessions differently for each child. Lastly, in case you are curious, the project car I recently bought is a 1975 Maverick (look it up it's cool looking).

Tutoring approach will include an assessment each session to determine what areas to focus on and a plan of success, a patient but fun session to ensure knowledge is being transferred, and a fun follow-up game to help with retention. While I don't have a degree, my experience as a mother has helped me understand that teaching is different for every child. We will work together to understand your child’s needs. All in all, my relentless patience and pattern recognition will effectively enable me to teach your child and recognize what motivates them! My lessons are geared towards children range 3-12. These lessons would benefit children who act out, have a hard time sitting still, or paying attention.
