About Sloane
My journey with piano began when I first discovered how melodies and harmonies can create powerful emotional experiences. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, where I studied technique, music interpretation, and classical repertoire. During my 8 years of teaching, I have helped students develop both technical ability and musical confidence.
I believe that music education should be supportive and inspiring. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, patient guidance, and steady improvement. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to match their learning pace and musical interests. Some learners focus on classical pieces, while others enjoy learning modern songs.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and studying different musical compositions. These experiences allow me to bring new musical ideas into my lessons. Teaching piano is deeply fulfilling because I see students grow more confident and expressive through music.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong musical skills while enjoying the learning process. Beginners start by learning proper hand position, finger coordination, and how to read musical notes. Simple exercises and short melodies help students understand rhythm and pitch. I guide learners step by step so they become comfortable playing with both hands while maintaining steady timing.
As students progress, lessons include scales, chord patterns, and longer musical pieces. These activities improve finger strength, coordination, and musical awareness. Students also learn how to shape musical phrases and express emotion through their playing. Practice strategies are introduced so learners can continue improving between lessons.
My goal is to help students appreciate the beauty of music while developing discipline and confidence. Lessons encourage careful listening, creativity, and patience. Over time students gain the ability to perform music clearly and expressively. Piano becomes both an artistic skill and a source of personal enjoyment.
