About Paul
I'm Paul Alkema, a 20-year-old student of Business and Consumer Sciences at the University of Wageningen. I have been tutoring high school students in economics, business economics and English for more than three years now, and since this year I have also been a teacher of Dutch for international students. So I really enjoy teaching, and that's why I plan to become a teacher when I grow up.

The student is of course the most important part of every lesson so, before the lesson, I always ask the student in question to forward the material so that I can properly prepare the lesson. During the lesson I make sure that the student properly understands the subject by making assignments together and asking difficult questions. And it does not matter if the lesson ever runs out a bit. I always schedule plenty of time for my lessons. The duration of my lessons is therefore never fixed, because sometimes you just need a little more time and sometimes you are finished fairly quickly.
