About Ellie
I have been a youth coach in my local community for 10 years. I have a love and passion for modern studies and believe it is a crucial subject for young people to take in order to become well-rounded individuals who can comprehend the world around them and their place in it. I have a variety of experience in working with young people as a coach, play worker and as a student teacher. I am approachable, understanding, confident and always work on feedback and constructive criticism.

I take a nurturing, supportive approach to tutoring. I am patient and have skills in scaffolding to help the student achieve in areas they struggle to access on their own. I can do 1 hour lessons or longer if needed. I have a 2:1 in a Joint honours degree of Politics and international relations alongside Social policy and I am a current student at the University of Strathclyde as a PDGE Modern Studies teacher. I can teach any level from 1st - 6th year.
