About Daniela
I am an experienced violin tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional music experience, dedicated to helping students grow as technically skilled, confident, and expressive musicians. I teach school and college students at all levels, from complete beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been seeing students who once struggled with basic technique evolve into performers who can play with emotional depth, precision, and musicality.
My teaching emphasises technical mastery, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also nurturing creativity, musical expression, and interpretation. I include music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to ensure students gain a full understanding of music.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, creating a supportive, patient, and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to explore and grow. Teaching violin allows me to inspire confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music in every student I teach.

My violin teaching methodology focuses on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, aiming to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Lessons are designed to balance technical skill development with creative projects, improvisation, and performance practice, tailored to each student’s goals and strengths.
Motivation drives engagement. I help students define achievable short-term and long-term goals, track their progress, and celebrate milestones, building confidence and dedication. Communication ensures that lessons are collaborative and interactive. Students feel comfortable asking questions, discussing challenges, and expressing ideas freely, fostering a strong teacher-student partnership.
Creativity is a core element of my teaching. Through improvisation, interpretation, and composition exercises, students explore their personal artistic voice and deepen their emotional connection to music. Integrity emphasises disciplined practice, responsible effort, and respect for learning, establishing habits that support sustained growth and musical excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, and introductory piano, providing a holistic musical education. My methodology ensures that students develop technical mastery, artistic expression, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
