About Lucy

Hi! My name's Lucy, I'm a CELTA (University of Cambridge certificate) trained English teacher from Cambridge in the UK.

I've been teaching students from many different countries since 2008, from large group classes in Language Institutes to 1:1 online and in-person lessons to private and business clients of all levels.

I'm 100 percent committed to helping you reach your language goals and have seen many students advance to proficiency level, feeling comfortable and confident with their English.

About the lesson

All my classes are focused on the needs and goals of each student, with regular progress-checks and feedback so you see your advances. Class atmosphere is friendly and stress-free so you can really enjoy learning.

I'm super patient and love to teach, so look forward to fun and interesting classes!

My teaching includes:
-Conversational English
-General English
-Business English
-Exam preparation (IELTS, First Certificate, Cambridge Exams, TOEFL)
-Pronunciation training (phonetics)

We'll explore relevant and interesting topics and materials, and depending on your needs we'll focus on:
-Training speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
-Expanding vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar

I really enjoyed my classes with Lucy. Being a native Russian speaker, I struggled to pronounce certain sounds properly as well did not understand the rhythm of the Bristish English .
Lucy has a structure in place for her classes and I really liked the fact that content of the classes is planned.
Lucy also gave me plenty of examples and homework to practice at home. She is very detailed oriented in her approach and will ensure you pronounce words correctly.
In general she is a very friendly person, I am sure you will enjoy classes with her.
