About Ivan
I am an experienced drum tutor with over 18 years of teaching college students who want to strengthen their rhythm skills and musical understanding. My lessons focus on clarity, creativity, and steady improvement. My teaching style is student-centered and practical.
I break down complex rhythms into simple parts and guide students through hands-on practice. I encourage critical thinking so students understand what they play. I use innovative techniques such as groove building exercises, tempo accuracy drills, and guided improvisation.
