About Sophie
I am a professional violin tutor with 15 years of experience teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. Music education has given me the opportunity to work with students from different age groups and help them achieve meaningful progress.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, communication, and lifelong learning. I believe that every student can succeed when given proper guidance and encouragement. Therefore, I adapt my lessons according to individual needs and learning preferences.
Over the years, I have helped many students strengthen their fundamentals and become more confident musicians. One of my proudest achievements has been watching students develop a genuine love for music and continue learning with enthusiasm.
I am committed to making lessons enjoyable and helping students achieve lasting success in their musical journey.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student learns differently, and I make sure that each lesson is adjusted according to the student's needs, goals, and pace. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning and expressing themselves.
In violin lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, and music reading. I teach concepts in a step-by-step manner and use practical exercises to make learning easier and more enjoyable. I encourage students to practice consistently and provide guidance that helps them improve with confidence.
Besides violin, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm studies. These subjects help students strengthen their understanding of music and become more complete musicians.
My goal is to help students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
