About Robert
I have a friendly and relaxed manner and like to make my lessons enjoyable. However, each of my lessons have clearly defined learning objectives, and I provide feedback to the student and/or parent after each session. I have worked in education both in mainstream schools and as a private tutor for over 6 years. I understand the need to treat each student as an individual; each with their own strengths and weaknesses and each with their preferred methods of learning. Therefore I tailor each session to suit the specific needs of the learner.
I teach students of all ages and levels. Amongst others, I am currently tutoring a KS2 student in maths and English, an adult learner English as a foreign languages well as mentoring a student through the production of a film script.
I intend to start my PhD in Creative and Critical Writing in September 2014.
