Hi, I’m Maxine, a passionate and dedicated personal trainer with real-world experience and proven results. Fitness isn’t just my career—it’s my lifestyle. I’ve completed the Comrades Marathon twice, actively train in Cross Training, and have personally lost 15kg, which gives me a unique understanding of both the challenges and triumphs of a fitness journey. What sets me apart is not just my knowledge, but my empathy and accountability. I know how tough it can feel to stay consistent, so I’ll be there to motivate you, guide you, and keep you on track every step of the way. My goal is to make training empowering, enjoyable, and effective—helping you achieve lasting results without feeling overwhelmed. With equipment available at home, I can provide structured, goal-focused sessions for weight loss, strength building, endurance training, and overall fitness. I also adapt easily to different environments and can tailor workouts to suit your needs, as long as you’re healthy and ready to move. My lessons are best suited for adults at beginner to intermediate levels who want to improve their fitness, lose weight, or build confidence in their training. My Approach My teaching style is all about combining structure with empathy. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” method—every person has different goals, strengths, and challenges. What makes me unique is that I’ve personally experienced the ups and downs of fitness: I’ve lost 15kg, trained for Cross Training, and completed the Comrades Marathon twice. Because of this, I know how to motivate, keep you accountable, and guide you through both the physical and mental sides of training. Languages I am proficient in English and Afrikaans, which makes my lessons clear, supportive, and easy to follow. What to Expect in a Lesson A typical lesson with me will begin with a check-in on your energy levels and progress, followed by a warm-up, the main workout tailored to your goals (weight loss, endurance, strength, or conditioning), and a cool-down with stretching. I use my own training equipment at home, but I’m flexible and can adapt to almost any environment if you’re healthy and ready to move. Each lesson is designed to be challenging, enjoyable, and aligned with your long-term progress. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are aimed at beginner to intermediate adults who want to lose weight, build strength, or improve endurance. I work best with individuals who are healthy and able-bodied, motivated to make changes, and willing to stay consistent.
